Les Aventures d'une souris verte by Benjamin Rabier
Editions Garnier Freres is a children's book completely free and downloadle for these times of severe lockdown.
Published by Editions Garnier Freres is an enchanting tale for children about differences and equality, but also a tale about friendship, mutual help, funny events.

This mice, little and cute was born  one day in a place not so distant from Paris. His peculiarity was his color: oh my God, the little mice was GREEN!!!! No one had seen a green mice and this one was considered a big shame in the family.

But...How nice, kind, sweet and tender was the little green mice and how helpful was for everyone!
He started to let show to the world his big potentialities in terms of generosity, kindness, and help, pretty early. He helped a community of rabbits with a big cross: the presence of a nasty animal, a furret fixating with them: realistically, without any doubt, he was decimanting them. Putting some helpful hedgehogs at the entrance of their nests would have been a precious and winning idea! suggested the kind green mice. It worked. Helpful also with a duck, friend of a spider, the green mouse fought a lot with Attilia, a cat. Although the cat was firmly, firmly convinced that he would have killed the green mice, thanks to his friends, thanks to his own geniality, Attilia experienced a lot of bad experiencs ad the green mice won with simplicity and experincing most of the time some funny time and a good laugh. At the end of this story you will see that more or less the green mice became the best friend of everyone.

It is truly an enchanting little tale this one, written very well and absolutely funny.

The moral of this story is that making the difference and being sociable, amicable, helpful, means a lot, also if there are peculiarities absolutely unique in that creature, as the mice had: he was green and so, just for this reason "misunderstood" and reason of shame in his family. His friends, as it happens often, the choosen family of other similars, didn't mind and appreciated the great role, intelligence and kindness of the little rodent.

I warmly suggest you of downloading this ebook and the other wagon ones that you will find in this website of children literature all available for free in these time of, as french call it, confinement, lockdown.
