Horace Le Coucou di Pierre Senges Haydé

 Horace Le Coucou

is an adorable and cute childrens books written by Pierre Senges Haydé for La Joie de Lire.

In these 20 pages it is told the story of this adorable little bird, Horace. This cute childrens books wants to speak of inclusion, difference of...sounds, perspective.

Horance is still a little bird and once day he cannot chant like the rest of the little siblings coucou, as he did everyday.

The rest of the birds are incredulous: "Why aren't you chanting coucou as all the rest of us?"

But there is nothing to do. The sound is completely different: a verse of another animal. What to do?

Horace decides to go away from his forest, going in other places, where he will try his best for having back his coucou, but without to resolve anything.

At the end he will understand that difference can be good, like the discovery of new companions and friends in grade to accept him for who he is.

A cute reading in a season where, everyday we hear the chant: coucou!
