Interesting, fascinating book this one plenty of class, charme and style.
It is all about this new trend, this new fashion-habit loved by everyone and started by the elite: the one of bringing very little dogs, sometimes so little that they are apparently invisibles to the human sight, in the purse.
This trendy habit involves Hollywood celebraties, people living in the biggest cities of the world; known people, but as said before, also common ones.
Not only; bags where these dogs spend most of their times are immensely expensive. Gucci, Mulberry, Prada brands interested in the business. Louis Vuitton's created a bag at the cost of 1500 euros adapeted for pooches as well. But...You musn't never think that people carrying with them their dogs do that for exhibitionism: no. It is just wonderful to have their favorite little pet constantly close to them, wherever they go.
It's an expensive trend but not uncommon. In the 1920s you could see students and teachers of Oxford, Cambridge, Princeton and Yale with their beloved dogs in the basket of their bycicles.
Pictures are magnificent. We pass from Madonna to sunny men in bycicles.
