The Wildflower's Workbook A Journal for Self-Discovery in Nature by Katie Daisy

The Wildflower's Workbook A Journal for Self-Discovery in Nature by Katie Daisy is, for sure, one of the most

suggestive, beautif The Wildflower's Workbook A Journal for Self-Discovery in Nature by Katie Daisy  ul and colored journal I have seen this year. I found it in the second-hand store of the charity Books for Dogs located in Umbertide and I fell immediately in love for it. Published by Chronicle Books, a publishing house in love for creativity, gifts, and beautiful things and objects, there is to add that this one could be a stunning gift for one of your girlfriends and it would be highly appreciated.
Why this journal? It is a tribute at nature and at the time we should reserve to the beauty of the world.
The author grew up in harmony with nature, in the Mid-West and she tells that now wherever she goes she tries to replicate the beauty she experienced thanks to the direct contact with nature when little, influenced by it so badly.
There are too many intriguing pages, but for giving corporeity to some of them, you will find pages where you can press your leaves or flowers, other ones where you will build and attach your mandala made with natural things like leaves, flowers; where the author ask you of naming what it means adventure to you; pages with some flowers, birds, butterflies; you must guess their names; the hymn to tree starts with the line by John Muir that "Every two pines trees there is a door leading to a new way of life."
Other two pages are for your dreaming home. What does it look like? Where is it?  You can write down your dreams and aspirations, where you saw a wonderful sunset, its color, your sensations.
In a moment in which we rush too much it's important, affirms the author in every page of this book, to remembering nature, to staying focus on it; to interrupt our daily routine close to a PC, looking continously at our smart phone. Let's try to see and abserve a magical sunset; flowers close to us, the song of some birds, the water of a close river running away; frogs and their "chant". Nature speaks everywhere. Your favorite books, season, your potentialities; annotate the sweetest moments you are living. Freedom and the meaning of it for you; serendipity and when you experienced it; where you find magic, always looking at the stars. The last pages are dedicated to gratitude, thoughts and more.

Simply enchanting, every page is colored, brilliant, rich of nature, it seems like a real splash in a wild, still pure environment where beauty can't tolerate any disharmonic feeling.

I know you will adore it.

Highly highly recommended.
