La Danza del Mulino by Winston Graham

 La Danza del Mulino

by Winstom Graham is the nineth episode of the Poldark Saga. It is one of the best sagas you can find around and again, if you search for some escapism, adventure, complicated love-stories, some tribulations and all the possible pathos of the old times this book is for you.

In this chapter of the saga we find Ross and Demelza back to their old serenity, who, went lost if you remember, in the past books because of their intricated love-stories with other people.

It's 1812 when the chapter starts and and Europe is still surrounded by the war; the one against Napoleon; Ross and Demelza are waiting their fifth child.

The two children of Ross will be the main protagonists of this book, Clowence and Jeremy. The first one is absolutely attracted by Stephen Carrington, the stranger who conquered the heart of the young girl; although united, and although they are engaged this union will meet a lot of tribulations because as said before the stranger is not clear.

Jeremy is focused in the conquest of a girl called Cuby Trevanion; this girl tries to catch someone with some money and the delusion in Jeremy will be so high that he won't hesitate more for desperation than anything else of joining Stephen in a pretty obscure adventure...

This series produced 40 international editions and a TV series created by the BBC and on La 7, is one of the most powerful adventures every created by the pen of an author!

Highly recommended.

I thank Marsilio for the physical copy of this book.
