Fiabe Islandesi

 Fiabe Islandesi

is a new book published by Iperborea and one of the most pleasant reading of these last weeks. Escapism is more than necessary in this moment and trust me when I tell you that with these fairy-tales you'll fly away; they will tranport you in magical and distant lands, in company of trolls, princes, kings, people of the little folk, poor people, peasants.

In general in these tales there are prizes for honest people, the ones that act with kindness and generosity towards other ones.

There are stories of social ascension, but mainly in these fairy-tales there are strong lessons of life, I think at the story of Asmundur, the wind and the two sisters. These horrible ladies because in front of them had a too ingenuous and candid young boy wanted to cheat him, leaving the goodness life had given to him and his parents. It is a recurrent thematic, but no one of these opportunists will win against the goodness of the protagonists.

Very famous fairy-tales like Snow White and Beauty Sleeping are re-read in fantastic ways!

People in these stories are also tested for trying to see if their heart is good and if there is love.

These fairy-tales were in fact created for giving a good guidance to people and a strong morality.

Beautiful!
