Encouraging Thoughts for Women: Blessings by MariLee Parrish

Encouraging Thoughts for Women: Blessings by MariLee Parrish is a book for women by Barbour. It will be released this July 1.
I received a digital advanced copy and I just can  imagine what it will be physically and well, I just can tell you I will use the word poetic for describing this book! Dreaming, beautiful, inspiring, colored, rich of topics, this book wants to remember to all women the power of God and His presence in our existence, also when we live difficult times, also when we can't find Him anywhere and at the same time keeping our trip as pilgrims on Earth happy and joyous.
The writer takes verses from the Holy Bible, Old and New Testament.
After a topic, for example "Prayer" to follow a Bible verse and later a strong and profound reflection about the sense of the verse with some quotations taken also by old writers, thinkers and saints.

I love to mention this quote by Saint Francis: "Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible."

There are great reflections about the meaning of the existence.
Why we are here, why we exist, where is God sometimes, but also the possibility of trying to understand what God has in His mind for us.
I absolutely love the page: "Who I am in Christ" without forgetting that the real freedom, peace, can be found thanks to God and Jesus, and during our daily life plenty of problematic. If we put our problems in God's hands life less stressing. If we accept His help, His protection.

There is a verse involving directly us: Woman.
A wise woman strengthens her family Proverbs 14:1. To follow an encouraging reflection for all of us, for being the strongest part of our family and not the weakest one.

Other topics touched by this little but precious book are friendship and blessing but also helping other people.

I love this quotation by Martin  Luther King jr: "Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend."

It's a happy, happy book!

What I can tell you more? Don't forget to buy this book, to bring it with you, to read and re-read it often when you have some time and well just this...Let's love our journey and let's smile and stay happy and positive with God close to us.

I thank NetGalley and Barbour for this book.
